Daniel Chopra

Aaron Baddeley of Australia beat Chopra on the third play-off hole after both players finished the tournament 13 under par. Daniel Samir Chopra was born on 23 December, 1973 in Stockholm. He has an Indian father and a Swedish mother. At the age of 7, he joined his grandparents in Delhi, India. He learned Hindi and is a fluent speaker.

Daniel Samir Chopra won the All India Junior Golf Championship three times. In 1991, he won the Doug Sanders International Junior Championship. He turned professional in 1992.

Between 1996 and 2002, Chopra's appearance in the European Tour was intermittent. He joined the US PGA Tour in 2004 and, in 2007, won his first PGA Tour event - the Ginn sur Mer Classic at Tesoro, Florida.
