Grégory Bourdy

Grégory Bourdy is a French golfer who has been playing on the European Tour full time since 2005. He currently ranks high on the European Ryder Cup Points List.

As an amateur player, Grégory Bourdy won the 2002 Scottish Youths Amateur Open Championship. In the same year, he played for the French team – which finished in second place – in the Eisenhower Trophy.

From 2003 to 2005, Grégory Bourdy played mostly second-tier and third-tier Tour events. In 2006, he took the South African PGA Championship on the Sunshine Tour.

Bourdy’s first win of a European Tour event came in October 2007, when he won the Mallorca Classic at the Pula Golf Club. This propelled him to a position of 39th on the European Tour’s Order of Merit ranking.

Also in October 2007, Grégory Bourdy tied with Rory Mcilroy for a fourth position in the Open de Madrid Valle Romano, which was won by Denmark’s Mads Vibe-Hastrup.
